La découverte du mois sera l’album du groupe EVIL ONE qui sortira dans les bacs le 10 mars prochain, chez Pervade Productions / Manitou Musics. Pour info, cette galette a été enregistrée et mixée par Axel Wurthorn au Walnut Groove Studio à Amiens et masterisée par Jeff Waters (Annihilator) au Watersound Studios à Ottawa (Canada).

Maintenant que le décor est planté, passons aux choses sérieuses. Le premier titre de l’album qui a donné son nom à celui-ci est « EVIL NEVER DIES ». Song rythmée à consonance heavy/trash, elle donne d’entrée la teneur sulfureuse de ces compositions.  Nous allons donc découvrir ce très bon groupe de metal dans toute sa splendeur. Certains dirons à teneur 80’s, pour notre part la musique étant éternel est toujours actuelle. Il est vrai que le rock est impérissable. « TRASHBACK », second titre, perdure sur la bonne rythmique de la première song, tout en basculant soudainement dans une merveilleuse balade où l’on découvre encore mieux la texture musicale du chanteur, Fred. Puis la purée revient doucement pour enchainer sur « FEEL THE PAIN », un excellent morceau d’anthologie du metal avec ses riffs de gratte trash-électrique. C’est un pur bonheur. « INSTANT ANNIHILATION »  rendront heureux les fans de solo de guitare, car EVIL ONE s’en donne à coeur joie sur cette compo: le pied. « WOUNDS OF WAR » continue dans la foulée avec en outre une superbe mélodie dynamique qui ne peut que vous émouvoir. Vous n’avez plus qu’à fermer les yeux et imaginer notre « favorit band » au devant de la scène. « PERVERSE MORALITY »  s’appuie sur l’excellence de SPEED, notre batteur. Une bonne rafale de bon trash vous est envoyé en pleine face: wahouuuu !!! Envie d’hanbagging immédiate assurée… « CONTRAT IN BLOOD » a l’impression de sortir délicatement d’outre-tombe et vous éveille doucement à rêver metalliquement sur une balade soutenue. « THE CONQUEROR » ainsi que son nom l’indique, vous conquérera de par son style très heavy, une bonne dose de percussion sur un air un tantinet celtique. Et pour terminer en apothéose, une petite dernière, « MR BASSMAN », une song sur gratte acoustique avec Fred en voix a cappella purement mélodique: chapeau bas l’artiste !

Il est donc évident que ONYX METAL ne peut que vous conseiller ce dernier album de EVIL ONE; album très bien goupillé, mélodieux, rythmé, varié: pas de quoi s’ennuyer là-dessus nous pouvons en être garant. Il est à noter qu’un bonus vous est réservé sur l’album, « SUPREMATIE ».

Il n’y a franchement rien à jeter là-dedans, surtout pas la pochette au design fantasmagorique  et nous mettrons comme note un « A+ » pour cette superbe création artistique.

Now that the stage is set, things turn serious. The first album title which gave its name it is « EVIL NEVER DIES ». Song rhythmic consonance heavy / trash, it gives the input sulfur content of these compounds. We will discover this great band in all its plendeur. Some say grade 80’s, for our part the music is eternal is always present. It is true that rock music is imperishable. « TRASHBACK » second title, still good rhythm on the first song, suddenly while tilting in a wonderful trip where you will find even more musical texture singer Fred. Then puree back gently to move on « FEEL THE PAIN », an excellent piece of anthology of metal riffs with his trash-electric guitar. It is a pure happiness. « INSTANT ANNIHILATION » make the fans happy for solo guitar, as EVIL ONE will give their heart on this composition: the foot. « WOUNDS OF WAR » continues in the aftermath along with a beautiful melody that dynamic that you can not move. You just have to close your eyes and imagine our favorite band to the forefront. « Perverse Morality » is based on the excellence of SPEED, our drummer. A good gust of good trash is sent to you in the face: wahouuuu! Looking for immediate hanbagging assured … « AGREEMENT IN BLOOD » feels gently out from beyond the grave and gently awakens you to dream on a walk metalliques supported. « THE CONQUEROR » as its name suggests, you win by his style very heavy, a good dose of percussion on air a bit Celtic. And finally grand, a little last, « MR Bassman », a song on acoustic guitar with Fred in purely melodic voice accapella: low hat the artist !
It is therefore clear that ONYX METAL can only advise you this album EVIL ONE; pin very good album, melodic, rhythmic, varied: never a dull moment on this point we can be guaranteed. It should be noted that a bonus is reserved for you on abum « SUPREMATIE« .

There is frankly nothing to throw in there, especially the cover design fantastic and we will note as an « A + » for this wonderful art.
