Nous sommes arrivés sur place vers 16 heures, le 26 février 2008, à l’Elysée Montmartre à Paris.
A 16 heures 30, livraison des instruments de musique du groupe de la première partie: une camionnette s’arrête boulevard de Rochechouard. Plusieurs personnes s’affairent à sortir le matériel de la remorque de l’arrière du véhicule.

Nous attendons… attendons… vers 17 h 30 arrive une équipe de télévision, caméra à l’appui. Ils étaient venus nous filmer et interviewer certains d’entre nous. Ce fut un véritable délire à la porte. Une dame passant par là, s’exclama même: « ce sont des gens qui n’ont pas l’air commodes »… (note d’humour). Cet interview passera dans deux mois environ sur ARTE dans l’émission « Tracks ».
Les portes devaient s’ouvrir vers 18 h… longue attente encore, car nous avons pu entrer dans une véritable cohue (bousculade en perspective) à 18 h 40 (ouf: nous étions enfin in the room).

Le concert a commencé à 20 H 10 avec la première partie: le groupe EVILE. Ils jouèrent environ 35 mn; là le public était déjà exulté.
Puis entracte de quelques 15 minutes, afin que les techniciens terminent d’installer le matériel de Megadeth. Au passage, une charmante jeune fille traversa de droite à gauche la scène, avec sur un plateau un verre de vin rouge… et oui il est reconnu ce doux breuvage éclaircit la voix..
Le véritablement concert, « the Must » commença donc aux environs de 21 h pour se terminer à 22 h 30. Soit plus d’1 H 30 d’exaltation, que du bonheur, un vrai délice…
Une excellente ambiance régnait dans le public qui a fortement ovationné le leader du groupe, Dave Mustaine, excellent chanteur et guitariste: cela pogotait à tout va, de nombreux slams à la cool de la part de certains spectateurs…
Les musiciens ont donné à leur fervent public toute leur fougue et leur sympathie. Megadeth, très à l’écoute de ses fans du jour, a commencé par l’intro avec Sleep Walker, puis enchainant sur Wake Up Dead, Take No Prisoners… et bien sûr A tout le monde qui plaisait énormément à la chorale improvisée de la salle entière, ainsi que Symphony of Destruction. Nous dirons qu’une quinzaine de titre au total ont été joués par Dave et ses trois compères.

Ce merveilleux concert se termina en apothéose par le rappel de nos stars avec Holy Wars…The Punishement Due
Un atout du spectacle fut Chris Broderick, le remplaçant de Glen Drover, bourré de charisme et allant bien souvent à la rencontre de son public. A noter aussi qu’il joue avec une guitare possédant 7 cordes.
A la fin du concert le public a eu droit au lancer de baguettes du batteur et au jeter de médiators. Ce fut vraiment un excellent concert que nous ne sommes pas prêts d’oublier.

Chapeau les artistes et encore bravo à Dave Mustaine.

Nous avons passé un excellent moment de Trash/Metal, un tel instant ne s’oubliera jamais…

This interview will pass in approximately two months on ARTE in the emission “Tracks”.
The doors were to still open towards 18:00… long delay, because we could enter a true mob (scuffle in prospect) to 18:40 (ouf: we were finally in the room).
The concert started with 20:10 with the first part: group EVILE. They played approximately 35 mn; there the public was already exulté.
Chris Broderick then interval of a few 15 minutes, so that the technicians finish to install the material of Megadeth. In the passing, a charming young girl from right to left crossed the scene, with on a plate red wine glass… and yes he is recognized this soft beverage clears up the voice…
Truly the concert, “the Must” thus started around 21:00 to finish with 22:30. That is to say more than 1. 30 of exaltation, that happiness, a sheer delight…
An excellent environment reigned in the public which strongly cheered the leader of the group, Dave Mustaine, excel singer and guitarist: that pogotait with all goes, of many slams to cool on behalf of some spectators…
James Lomenzo the musicians gave to their enthusiastic public all their ardour and their sympathy. Megadeth, very with the listening of its fans of the day, started with the intro with Sleep Walker, then connecting on Wake Up Dead, Take No Prisoners… and of course off has everyone which liked enormously the impromptu choral society of the whole room, like Symphony Destruction. We will say that about fifteen title on the whole were played by Dave and its three accomplices.
This marvellous concert finished in grand finale by the recall of our stars with Holy Wars… The Punishement Due
An asset of the spectacle was Chris Broderick, the substitute of Glen Drover, stuffed charisma and very often going to the meeting of its public. To also note that he plays with a guitar having 7 cords.
The leader of the Megadeth group At the end in the concert the public was entitled to the throw of rods of the beater and throwing médiators. It was really an excellent concert which we are not ready to forget.
