ONYX METAL a assisté le 25 février 2009 au concert spécial heavy-metal au café-concert La Chimère de Lille. Cette soirée avait été organisée par EmanesMETAL records, un label de Roubaix.
Au menu de la soirée trois groupes: AYWARN (groupe du Nord/Pas-de-Calais), PORTRAIT et ENFORCER, ces deux derniers venus de Suède. La soirée débuta vers 20 H 15, donc, par AYWARN. C’est un bon petit groupe à tendance trash/metal, speed et heavy. Composé de cinq zicos, Pat au chant, Pierre-Yves à la guitare, Sébastien à la basse ainsi que de Mathieu & Matthieu, respectivement guitariste et batteur, qui font partie également du groupe Colleen. AYWARN a su chauffer la salle de La Chimère comme il se doit. Il faut avouer que leur rythmique est des plus énergiques et très rapides. Pat appose sa voix à tonalité heavy sur ce line-up des plus prometteurs dans leur créneau. Pat savait descendre de scène afin de mettre l’ambiance dans la fosse, parmi les nombreux spectateurs venus assister à la soirée. Les cheveux se déliaient et les premiers headbagings sont apparus. Cool les gars, nous avons bien apprécié…
Vous pouvez retrouver sur le myspace de AYWARN toutes leurs dates de concert dans la région. Alors n’hésitez pas un instant à passer les voir… cela dépote !!!
Comme vous pouvez le constater sur cette photo ci-dessus, les gros bras arrivent avec en seconde partie le groupe PORTRAIT. Ce groupe de heavy/metal s’est créé apparemment en 2004 du côté de Kristianstad en Suède. Aujourd’hui, le groupe est constitué de Per Karlsson (voix), Christian Lindell (guitare), Richard Lagergren (guitare), Anders PerssonDavid Stranderud (basse – batterie).
Le 3 avril 2008, leur album a pris la forme physique, co-publié par les labels allemands Kodex et High Roller. Il fut récompensé par des critiques élogieuses et innombrables.
Ce que nous avons pu constater de visu et de nos oreilles également lors leur prestation. Per possède une voix très heavy mais également une prestance scénique qui a complètement embrasé le public. Ce gars possède une pêche d’enfer, il aimait aller devant ses convives du soir: headbaging oblige encore une fois et les premiers slams du public commencèrent.
Les metalleux dans la salle étaient complètement en osmose avec le groupe suédois. Les zicos de Portrait s’en donnèrent à coeur joie sur la scène mythique de La Chimère. Tous s’éclatèrent derrière leurs guitares, basse et batteries. A noter qu’ils étaient tous très bien lookés. Et il faut avouer que cela apportait un charme supplémentaire au spectacle: on en redemande…
Un grand merci à nos amis de PORTRAIT pour cette magnifique féérie d’un soir.
Vient ensuite la dernière et troisième partie de la soirée avec le groupe ENFORCER, très apprécié également. Et oui, nous avons eu affaire à cinq metalleux très énergiques: Olof Wikstrand au chant, Joseph Tholl à la guitare, Tobias Lindqvist à la basse, Adam Zaars à la guitare également et Jonas Wikstrand à la batterie. Jeunes et espiègles, ils ont dynamisés leur spectacle en faisant littéralement des mimiques déjantées sur scène. Les riffs électriques pleuvent à volonté, les headbagings également, conclus par des slams de spectateurs, mais aussi de Jospeh et de Olof en fin de soirée.
Excepté le fait qu’ils sont originaires de Arvika en Suède, nous n’avons malheureusement pas plus amples informations sur leur biographie. Mais tout reste à penser que, vu leur jeunesse, le groupe ENFORCER s’est créé assez récemment.
En tout état de cause, c’était la première fois que nous voyons autant de slams effectués dans cette petite salle lilloise: attention de ne pas se cogner sur le plafond (lol).
Tout laisse à penser que la tendance heavy/metal est, petit à petit, de retour en France… pour le bonheur de tous ses fans.

This is a good small group tends trash / metal, speed and heavy. Composed of five zicos, Pat singing, Pierre-Yves on guitar, Sebastian on bass and Mathieu & Matthew, guitarist and drummer respectively, which are also part of the Colleen. AYWARN has heated the room of The Chimère as it should. I must admit that their rhythm is very strong and very fast. Pat put his voice to heavy tone on the line-up of the most promising in their niche. Pat knew down scene so that the atmosphere in the pit, among the many spectators attending the event. What we have been able to see and our ears also during their service. Per has a very heavy voice but also a delivery that has completely engulfed the public. This guy has a hell of fishing, he loved going to his guests of the evening: headbaging forces once again and the first slams of the public began.
The love metal in the room were completely in harmony with the Swedish group. The musicians of Portrait gave heart to joy at the scene of the mythical « La Chimère ». All broke behind their guitars, bass and drums. Note that they were all very good looks. And I must admit that it offered an extra charm to the show: we want more …

Then comes the third and last part of the evening with the group ENFORCER, very appreciated. And yes, we have dealt five very strong musicians of metal: Olof Wikstrand vocals, Joseph Tholl on guitar, Lindqvist Tobias on bass, Adam Zaari also on guitar and Jonas Wikstrand on drums. Young and playful, they have energized the show by literally crazy expressions on stage. The electric riffs fly at will, the headbagings also slams concluded by spectators, but also Joseph and Olof late evening.
Except that they are from Arvika Sweden, unfortunately we have no more information on their biography. But everything is still to think that, given their youth, ENFORCER was established fairly recently.
In any event, it was the first time we see so many slams performed in this small room of Lille: careful not to bang on the ceiling (lol).
Everything suggests that the tendency heavy/metal is gradually returning to France … for the happiness of all its fans.
